What Dracula Represents

by Jean Jones

Sex, fear of women,
death, religion, evil, lust,
Intercourse, orgasm, fear,
Drug addiction, heroin addiction,
Crack addiction, doing what you know
to be wrong, but doing it anyway, getting high, getting off,
Wanting to do it over and over again,
No matter what the cost,
Seeking a prostitute for what you want,
doing whatever it takes to get high,
Walking the streets, sucking, release,
Crack, heroin, over and over again, forever-
