Hello and welcome to the October 2024 issue of Aphelion!

I have finally run out of short story submissions! Which means that I have eliminated the entire backlog. I'm now ready for more. So send 'em on in, folks! I'll be glad to have them.

Aphelion now has a mirror site over at IndieCD.org! That's Aphelion at IndieCD.ORG specifically. If you have friends outside the US that have been unable to access the regular website, send them that link. The Forums won't work there, but everything else should be accessable. IndieCD is the Independent Creators Directory run by Joe Bachman and it is a fantastic collection of Creatives of all kinds. Writers, musicians, jewelers, Animators, comic artists, craftspeople, game designers, photographers, coders, editors/proofreaders--what have you. All worth checking out.

Sorry for the shortness of the editorial this month, but I've been working out in the yard all day, and I'm a bit tired and sore.

All that said, it's time for a change of pace.

The online streaming shows "Stupid O'clock" and "Last Man Standing" have been uploaded live to YouTube as well as several Facebook pages for over four years now. They are basically live-streaming chat shows covering a range of topics, modeled on the types of conversations people have after hours at SF&F conventions. Joe McKeel and I have archives of past shows on our own YouTube channels. Check 'em out if that sounds like something you'd enjoy I've put links in our Features section that will take you to the YouTube archives of both shows.

It's high time I shut up and let you get to reading.

Enjoy yourselves,

Dan
